Today we are reviewing the VKWorld Z3310 push-button phone, which is a copy of the recently released updated Nokia 3310. I looked at the price tag of that Nokia... so it costs $55! And for VKWorld they ask for $20, and somewhere I even saw a price tag of $15 for a promotion. This is a completely different conversation. For $55 in China you can get a smartphone, a budget one, of course, but still the functionality is completely different. However, push-button phones currently have their own reasons and purposes of use, as well as advantages over smartphones. Still, they have some kind of zest and individuality that the current similar devices with large dimensions have lost. My impressions of using the VKWorld Z3310 are under the cut.
SPECIFICATIONS
Talk about technical specifications it doesn't make much sense for a long time) It's just a dialer with a very affordable price, which means there won't be any special requirements for it. The main thing: stability of operation, quality of GSM signal reception and quality of voice transmission. Time is also an important factor. battery life, because this may be one of the main reasons for purchasing of this device.

However, there are also disadvantages: a less powerful processor, smaller memory cards are supported, the Bluetooth version is specified more old version. There are also noticeable differences in the dimensions of the devices: the copy is longer, wider and thicker, and the difference in weight is 23 grams. It turns out that the design was copied, but the dimensions were not respected. The rest is an equal sign. 
PACKING AND EQUIPMENT

On one of the sides of the box we see funny inscriptions: “Designed by VKWorld”, as well as “Unique design by VKWorld”. Despite the fact that the manufacturer does not hide the fact that this is a copy) Even the name is borrowed, of course there is nothing unique here.

DESIGN AND ERGONOMICS
The design of VKWorld Z3310 is completely copied from the updated Nokia 3310, although not all dimensions were taken into account. There are also differences in the location of some connectors. 
Possible body colors: gray, blue, yellow, orange. Bright colors clearly suit this phone; the phone immediately begins to radiate positivity.
The phone is miniature and fits elegantly in the hand, especially after the already familiar 5.5-inch shovels. There are no questions regarding assembly, the case does not creak or play. The front panel contains control buttons, a speaker and a 2.4-inch display. The display is clearly covered with plastic; there is no need to mention Gorilla Glass here. The name of the manufacturing company is displayed under the screen. They could also write Nokla, like in the good old days)) 
The keys have a nice short travel and press clearly. It is worth noting the presence of Russian letters. 
The back panel is all-plastic, resembles an egg) It can be removed quite easily, but the original has problems with this! In order to remove back cover Nokia 3310 has to break a single nail and go for a screwdriver. At the same time, dents remain on the body... (information from reviews) What can I say, Nokia is no longer the same as it was in Good times. Now it’s just China, and not the best quality. On the top panel of the copy there is a camera with a flash, as well as holes for external speaker. The surface is slightly glossy, but fingerprints are hardly noticeable. 
On the bottom edge there are: a micro-USB port for charging, a 3.5 mm Jack and a microphone. Small flaws in the processing of the plastic for the hole cutouts are noticeable. 
The sides of the phone are empty

The buttons are backlit and white. There is no unevenness in the backlighting of the keys, as was the case in VKWorldStone V3S. 
Let's take a look at the “inner world” of the gadget. Inside there are two SIM card slots and a separate micro-SD memory card slot.

DISPLAY
The VKWorld Z3310 display has a diagonal of 2.4 inches with a resolution of 240*320 pixels, pixel density is 167ppi, brightness is 350cd/m2. The plastic covering the screen is slightly curved towards the edges. Therefore, the manufacturer decided to call it a “3D display”... It’s funny, of course))) 
It is clear that the display here does not shine with color reproduction and viewing angles; individual pixels can be seen with the naked eye. This is an ordinary display for a $20 push-button dialer, there’s not much you could want from it. The same VKWorld Stone V3S was even worse than this, especially with regard to viewing angles. There, at certain angles, nothing was visible at all, but here only the picture fades into light colors. 
In general, the display remains readable in the sun, although it fades quite a bit. 
SOFTWARE AND FUNCTIONALITY
The VKWorld Z3310 phone operates under the control of a self-made operating system, which is very similar to the standard Nokia operating system. The interface is quite simple and logical, all the standard functionality (alarm clock, voice recorder, calculator, etc.) is present, and it is possible to select a language. Unfortunately, it was not possible to avoid translation problems. Software part traditionally a problem area Chinese phones. Some words remain untranslated and are displayed in English; in some places Russian letters dance (have different size font), in some cases the translation is not entirely correct) 
The number of missed calls and SMS is displayed on the locked screen. 
The menu consists of individual large icons that fill the entire screen with submenus when clicked. 
The dialer looks like this: When you enter a large number of numbers, the scale does not decrease; the numbers remain just as huge. Maybe this is even better for grandmothers) There are no questions about the buttons, they all work well. 
All calls are divided into categories 
It is possible to set different sound profiles and change them. 
You can put mp3 on a call, you can also set separate melodies for each SIM card. Only for this you need a memory card, because there is actually no built-in memory. The 32 MB of built-in memory indicated in the specifications was entirely spent on the operating system, so in fact there is simply no memory) A 16 GB Micro-SD card was detected by the phone immediately. I put songs on the card, they all play without problems, but there are problems with the video, the resolution is too high for this display. 
If you copy, then copy completely) The phone has a snake game, it’s funny that the games section also has facebook app And Opera browser Mini. 
In your spare time, you can also play snake) It’s certainly not quite the same as it was in the good old days.

There were no problems with typing SMS messages, as well as receiving and displaying them. 
There is a radio, it works without connecting headphones. Not all waves are caught perfectly; some begin to play without interference only if you take the phone in your hand. But most are caught and play quite normally. So you can use the radio and it’s also quite comfortable. The speaker volume is enough to use the phone outdoors and in noisy companies as a background. 
I was also very pleased with the flashlight here, it shines quite decently. 
In the dark, you can rely on him and he will help out in difficult times. 
PERFORMANCE
There's not much to talk about performance here. The phone is equipped with a single-core Spreadtrum 6531 processor with a frequency of 312 MHz, created using a 40nm process technology. It supports cameras with a resolution of up to 2 MP.

Also installed are 32 MB of RAM and 32 MB of internal memory. As for the built-in memory, I already said above, it simply isn’t there, it’s all used up for the operating system. In general, the filling is enough for work, the phone does not lag and you don’t have to wait for a long time for this or that menu item to open, as was the case, say, in the Siemens of old.
It was not possible to warm up the phone while playing snake)) Therefore, I had to use extreme measures! I turned on the flashlight for half an hour! And only when it was working did the case heat up even a little, to almost 33 degrees Celsius. Looking ahead, the flashlight here is cool) 
WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY
From wireless technologies this device only has Bluetooth version 2.0. Other phones find the VKworld Z3310 quickly, there are no problems with pairing. 
Files are both transferred and received without problems. Only there is a nuance, only one at a time! There is no way to select multiple files and transfer them. 
I even wanted to check and try connecting a Bluetooth headset to the phone, but to no avail. Modern gadgets are not friendly with such a device) Android or iOS, give it a bluetooth version of 4.0 
The phone supports only 2G networks and operates at frequencies of 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. During a conversation, the interlocutor hears me well, the microphone is certainly not of super quality, but there are no problems with speech transmission. A little audible extraneous noise, if you use the phone on a noisy street, i.e. There is either no noise suppression here, or it suppresses noise weakly. This is not critical; you don’t have to ask your interlocutor what you said again. I also have no difficulty understanding the speech of the person on the other end of the line. In general, as a dialer, the phone shows itself confidently, the network picks up well.
CAMERA
There is only one camera here, the manufacturer claims a resolution of 2 megapixels, what kind of module is unknown. In fact, the pictures have a resolution of 1280 by 960, which is 1.23 megapixels. I'll say right away that the camera here is terrible. She even takes pictures worse FRONT CAMERAS modern ultra-budget Chinese smartphones.

The phone shoots video in 3gp format with a resolution of 320p. It is also of terrible quality... The camera module here is installed more for show: “just so it is.” It would be interesting to look at the camera of the original Nokia 3310.
BATTERY
The manufacturer claims that the phone has a 1450mAh battery and should last for two weeks in standby mode. 
It charges at a voltage of 5.3V and a current of 0.4A. As charging progresses, the current decreases. 
The final result shown by the tester was 1546mah. Time fully charged was 3.5 hours. 
From experience, I can say that the phone in dialer/radio/snake mode is enough for 6-7 days of use. In my opinion, the result is not bad. In standby mode, it will probably last the stated two weeks.
SOUND
The external speaker of the phone is of impressive size. It's loud enough, but not best quality. At maximum volume, wheezing and crackling noises are heard. If you reduce the volume to 70-80%, then they pass, while the sound remains quite loud and pleasant to the ear. So it's not all bad.

But listening to music with headphones is impossible here; the sound is transmitted with crackling noise and interference. The same problem was observed with VKWorld Stone V3S, and since then, alas, it has not been fixed in any way. 
DISASSEMBLY
At the bottom of the case we see the inscription: “Do not disassemble.” Challenge accepted! 
Disassembly was done using a Xiaomi Wowstick 1fs screwdriver. I think I'll write a review on it later. 
Next, the board is held on with double-sided tape; I did not tear it off.

The VKWorld Z3310 phone came out nice-looking and with a pleasing price. On pre-order, this device could be purchased for only $9.99, but now the price is $20. VKWorld costs almost three times less than the updated Nokia 3310! But the functionality and characteristics plus/minus are the same. Comparing these two phones, due to the price, VKWorld looks preferable; it also has a powerful flashlight) It is perfect for grandparents/little children due to its simplicity, and breaking it, if something happens, will not be as bad as a smartphone. Also many can use the Z3310 as a work phone or as a second spare.
The phone's firmware is crude and has a number of "jambs", but they are not critical and do not affect the operation of the main functions of the phone, mainly: translation problems, "jumping" text and the illogicality of some menu items. Perhaps the manufacturer will fix them with firmware updates. The camera is installed here for show, the pictures it takes are worthless, and it’s unlikely that anyone will use it at all. You won’t be able to put an mp3 on a call until you insert a memory card, because the built-in memory is not enough even to trim a song. Listening to music on headphones is not about this phone; no one will listen to music with crackling and distortion.
However, there are a number of positive aspects. The phone has two separate slots for SIM cards and a memory card; each SIM card can have its own ringtone. I am also pleased with the battery life, the phone lasts for a week of “active” use, if this term can be applied to this phone, because you can’t surf the Internet comfortably with it)) The flashlight here is excellent, Nokia 3310 never dreamed of this) FM radio, which works without connecting headphones, can be used outdoors or in a noisy company thanks to the loud speaker.
Overall the phone made a positive impression and in my opinion is worth the money. The original Nokia 3310, judging by the reviews, offers potential buyers plus/minus everything the same as the copy, but the body dimensions are more miniature. Surely the firmware will be without jambs. The camera shoots a little better, but it’s still terrible in Nokia. As a pure dialer, I have no complaints at all about the VKWorld Z3310. The bright colors of the Z3310 exude positivity, and the design evokes nostalgic feelings about the old days of feature phones. After all, there was something in them that was lost in appearance today's "shovels". Of course, push-button devices cannot compete with smartphones, but they still find their niche in the market even now. It would be nice to add support for 3G networks to the phone, because operators are already talking about turning off 2G in the future, because 3G has already covered 94% of the Republic of Belarus, where 99% of the inhabitants live, and there is less and less sense in using old networks.
